Policy

Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your email address and, if you choose to add one, a username and avatar. We receive this information from Clerk to identify your account.

Content you upload. Audio files, titles, tags, genre, BPM, and musical key for any loop you upload.

Usage information.Plays, likes, and downloads on loops, used to power features like play counts and trending rankings. For guests (not signed in), we use a temporary session cookie to prevent the same play from being counted multiple times — this cookie doesn't identify you personally.

Technical information. Standard technical data like IP address and browser type, collected automatically for security and abuse-prevention purposes (for example, detecting unusual upload or download activity).

• To operate the Service — hosting and streaming loops, maintaining your account, showing your uploads on your profile.
• To prevent abuse — for example, the play-count deduplication described above, and rate-limiting unusual activity.
• To assist with content review — newly uploaded tags are automatically screened by an AI-based moderation service before being approved, to help catch inappropriate or spam content.
• To communicate with you — for example, responding to support requests.

We rely on a small number of third-party services to run Loooplab:

• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• Cloudflare R2 — storage for uploaded audio files.
• An AI-based moderation service — used to help screen uploaded tags before they go live.

We don't sell your personal information to third parties, and we don't use it for advertising.

We use essential cookies for authentication (via Clerk) and for the guest play-count deduplication described above. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

We keep your account information and uploaded content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within a reasonable time, though we may retain limited records where needed for legal or copyright-dispute purposes (for example, if a loop you uploaded is the subject of a DMCA complaint).

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these, contact us at the email below.

Loooplab isn't directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
